Industrial Development Board
The Industrial Development Board is the supporting link between business, government, and the local community, focused on industrial recruitment and retention. Additionally, the Board strives to provide attractive financing opportunities for existing and potential industry and offer attractive building sites and access for industrial expansion. The Board also acts as Sylacauga's liaison to the Talladega County Economic Development Authority.
Board members must be qualified electors and taxpayers of the municipality. No member may be a member of the city's governing body of the city, county, or state or a city employee.
