Board of Education
Sylacauga's Board of Education manages the city schools system -- Sylacauga High School, Indian Valley Elementary School, Nichols-Lawson Middle School, and Pinecrest Elementary School -- and is responsible for general oversight functions, including policy-making, school system planning, and facility, staff, and program appraisal. In partnership with families and the community, the city's schools prepare graduates ready for college, career, and community success.
